This notice explains what Wiseley collects, why it is used, and the choices available to you. Optional website analytics remain off unless you explicitly allow them.
Who is responsible
Wiseley is responsible for the personal data described here. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to hello@wiseley.app.
Data we handle
- Account and profile details, such as your email address, display name, avatar, language, and selected learning topics, when you create or update an account.
- Learning activity you choose to save, including library items, progress, history, highlights, ratings, downloads, and challenge state.
- Subscription and purchase status. Payment providers process payment credentials; Wiseley receives the identifiers and entitlement information needed to provide access.
- Support messages, correction requests, and the technical information needed to diagnose a problem or protect the service.
- Website usage events only after you allow optional analytics. The website sends no optional analytics request before that choice.
Why we use it
We use this information to provide and personalize Wiseley, keep learning state in sync, manage access and purchases, answer requests, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data.
Service providers and transfers
Wiseley uses service providers for authentication and data hosting, app distribution, payments, and—only with consent—analytics. Those providers process data under their own security and privacy obligations. Where data crosses borders, Wiseley relies on the transfer safeguards required for the people and providers involved.
Retention and security
Account and learning data is kept while the account is active and for the limited period needed for recovery, security, disputes, or legal duties after deletion. Support and transaction records are kept only as long as their purpose or a legal requirement applies. The website remembers an analytics choice for up to twelve months. No internet service can promise absolute security, but Wiseley limits access and uses technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the data.
Your choices
You can update profile and preference information, withdraw analytics consent at any time, and request access, correction, export, restriction, objection, or deletion where the law provides those rights.
