How guide bylines work

Named guide bylines are Wiseley house pen names. They group related editorial specialties and give recurring subjects a consistent voice; they do not identify individual employees or independent experts. Their portraits are AI-generated and do not depict real people.

What the byline does not claim

A pen-name byline is not a claim of professional licensure, academic credentials, personal experience, or endorsement by a featured book author. Wiseley remains responsible for research, editing, source records, updates, and corrections.

How guides are built

Each guide starts with a specific reader question, stays explicit about the books and external evidence it uses, and avoids treating an author's argument as settled fact. Time-sensitive or high-stakes claims require appropriate primary or authoritative sources before the page is eligible for indexing.

When something is wrong
