Gentle and Lowly

Dane Ortlund

Gentle and Lowly asks what Christ is like toward people burdened by sin, failure, and suffering. Reading Scripture through that question, Dane Ortlund traces Jesus’s welcome, sympathy, intercession, and enduring love, then considers how this vision reshapes repentance, shame, and the impulse to earn divine favor.
